The New Zealand Winegrowers’ New Release Tasting returns for the first time in three years and will be held at 67 Pall Mall in London.

This will be the first comprehensive UK showing of the 2022 vintage wines, which has been eagerly anticipated following shortages caused by the small crop of vintage 2021.

 This year we are pleased to showcase 99 wines from 32 producers covering seven of New Zealand’s wine producing regions including Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Marlborough, Nelson, North Canterbury and Central Otago.

 There is an increasing breadth of styles now produced in New Zealand which is highlighted by 19 different varieties and styles on show, from Albariño to Zweigelt. Guests will be able to explore the growing diversity of Sauvignon Blanc with lighter alcohol, sub regional, organic and oak aged styles, while there will be an opportunity to discover the regional characteristics of our Pinot Noir.

 In addition to the New Release, we are adding a special extra feature table showing Aged Wines to highlight the ageability of New Zealand wines.

This event is a self-pour tasting with wines arranged by regions and varietals.

All wines presented are produced in accordance with one of our recognized sustainability programs.
